Hustai National Park

This is one of the nearest National from Ulaanbaatar, Capital city of Mongolia. Unique wild horse – Takhi reintroduction project at Hustai National Park started in 1992. As the successful implementation of the project today they have over 220 takhi in the park. In addition to the takhi, there are populations of maral (Asiatic red deer), steppe gazelle, deer, boar, manul (small wild cat), wolf and lynx.
The Park covers a vast area, through the steppe and forest-steppe environment visitors have a variety of outdoor activities to enjoy, including Takhi and bird watching, hiking, horseback riding, photography, and ancient ruin sight-seeing...etc.
