Itinerary

Tour includes beautiful grasslands, Siberian woods, mountain and river valleys, incredible rock formations and one of the most places on earth. We cannot imagine a Mongolia without horse. The main success factor of Mongol Empire, the biggest in human history, is largely linked to Mongol horse. Not just for war, horse is well suited for nomadic lifestyle as Mongolians ride it to go take care of other livestock, move houses with, and travel long or short distances. Also mare’s milk is the closest to human breast milk, thus it is used widely for health improvement, but more importantly fermented one is very widely enjoyed in summer as “white beer”, the most favorite drink of Mongolians.

Ulaanbaatar city tour – Gandan Monastery the main Buddhist center, Chinggis Khaan (the central) Square, National History Museum, and Traditional cultural performance
Depart to beautiful Terelj National Park. This place is known for its fascinating rock formations, Siberian woods and wide range of plants and flowers. After lunch at the camp we will be united with horses and spend afternoon familiarizing and getting to know horses by riding in short distance unless you are very confident. Overnight at a ger camp.
We will start our real horse riding journey. The distance per day would be 25-30km or 15-20 miles per day. Our first stop is at Turtle rock, beautiful natural-made gigantic rock, shaped like a turtle. It is amazing that only rainwater and wind made it overtime. Then we will continue to Aryapala temple, Buddhist temple for meditation. The best view of Terelj national park lies there. On a horse back we will go through beautiful alpine surroundings and pass Terelj river.
