The trip contains the most of the famous and highlighting tourist attractions of the country. During the trip you can see various different natural features of Mongolia including: vast flat steppes, Gobi desert, mountains with lash trees, fresh water lakes and rivers. Moreover, you will see diverse ethnic groups, nomads who have bit distinctive lifestyles from each others due to the different natural and environmental conditions. It would be amazing to see and experience the majority of recognized destinations within a trip once you are visiting the country.

Arrival at Chinggis Khaan international airport. Meet your guide and a driver. Transfer to downtown and check in to hotel and Overnight
After breakfast drive to Mt.Baga Gazryn Chuluu NP. Arrival at Mt. Baga Gazryn Chuluu and after lunch you’ll enjoy its’ impressive granitic relieves surrounded by steppe. You can see eye treatment spa, ancient rock paintings, old monastery ruins, wild animals, and steppe nomads. Lodge at the ger camp. Dinner and overnight stay.
Breakfast. Departure south to the Gobi. Stop in the Mandalgovi - provincial center . Arrival and accommodate in ger camp near by Tsaagan Suvarga. Tsagaan Suvarga (white stupa) is a beautiful part of the gobi desert, it was an old seabed sedimentary structure created by millions years. Possibility of a short hike to the cliffs from where you can enjoy a stunning view of the formations, which take colors from white to yellow to pink to dark red during sunrise and sunset. Dinner and overnight stay at the ger camp.
Breakfast. Departure early in the morning for the excursion to the Yolyn Am Valley. Situated in the Gobi Gurvan saikhan National Park, you’ll walk along this narrow valley with rocky cliffs. If lucky, you will watch ibex (wild goats), vultures, eagles and marmots in this area. After lunch, drive to Sand Dunes of Khongoryn Els, crossing wild places with extraordinary landscapes of exotic gobi desert. In the late afternoon arrival and accommodation in the ger camp nearby sand dunes. Dinner and overnight stay at the ger camp.
Breakfast. At the dunes of Khongor sand dunes, we will visit Khongor River, a beautiful oasis with green grass contrasted with gold sand and overlooking blue rocky mountains in distance which when combined, give your breathtaking natural beauty. You will have opportunities to attend several different activities there. Such as: hiking on the dunes, camel riding, also motorcycle renting is available.
Breakfast. In the afternoon arrival at Bayanzag and trek on “Flaming Cliffs” where the American paleontologist Roy Chapman Andrews found, in 1922, the first dinosaur fossils of Mongolia and the first dinosaur egg in the world. You will walk along and through the hills, searching for dinosaur bones. Youʼll stay here until sunset to admire the rocks going redder and redder, as if they were on fire. Return to the camp. Dinner and overnight stay at ger camp.
After Breakfast departure for Ongi monastery. In the afternoon arrival at Ongi on a bank of Ongi river. Visit of the ruins of this big monastic complex that hosted more than 2.000 monks and that was destroyed by the Soviets in 1939. Dinner and overnight stay at ger camp.
Breakfast. Today the trip leads towards Northwest and the dry and dusty landscape turns into green scenery. In the afternoon arrival in river Orkhon Valley, the Sacred Valley of Chinggis Khaan (UNESCO World Heritage Site). Lodge at a ger camp close to the river canyons. Dinner and overnight stay
Breakfast. Drive across the sacred Valley to Orkhon Waterfalls and, if you like, short trek into the Orkhon canyons. The afternoon is dedicated to attend how the local people manage their livestock and their lives. Possible horse riding in surrounding area: you will go with a Mongol wrangler around in the forest or plains… Orkhon Valley it’s very nice. You will ride in silent places and look at wild animals… no roars… and you can experience as the Mongols travel! Late afternoon back to the ger camp. Dinner and overnight stay
Breakfast. Driving along wild and amazing valleys, you’ll reach the slope of a sacred mountain. After a nice walk (1 hour) through the larches arrival at Tuvkhun Monastery, which stands on a mountain rise (2.200 m). This complex was built in 1651 by Zanabazaar, grand son of Chinggis khan as his residence for meditation. During the visit you can see local families running “khora” and giving offerings. Boxed lunch. In the afternoon drive to Kharkhorin, the ancient Chinggis Khaan’s Capital. Lodge at a ger camp. Dinner & Overnight stay
Breakfast. The morning is dedicated to Kharkhorin. The ancient capital, known in the past as Kharkhorin, was entirely destroyed by Chinese in the 14th century, but upon its ashes, in 1586, was built one of the most important monastery of the country: Erdene Zuu with its white walls, its 108 stupa, its temples. Visit of the Ethnographic Museum (hosts a wonderful collection of ancient Buddhist relics), the local market and Turtle rock. Lunch at local restaurant. In the afternoon drive to Tsenkher Hot Spring, across green pastureland. Lodge at ger the camp near Tsenkher hot spring. Time for relax, massage, go to the pools. Dinner and overnight stay.
Breakfast. In the morning departure to Tsertserleg, the “Garden city” provincial center. Stop and visit the Buyandelgeruulegch Monastery. Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch drive to the Khorgo, Terkhiin Tsagaan lake National Park, a volcanic area with gorgeous landscapes, lakes and ancient flows of lava eroded by winds and rivers. Dinner and overnight stay at a ger camp.
Breakfast. Valleys that seem to never end, mountain passes and … if in season, countless Edelweiss will accompany you throughout the day. Landscapes completely different from those of the Gobi crossed just a handful of days before. Boxed lunch. Arrival in Murun, Khuvsgul province along the banks of the river Selenge and accommodation at the best local hotel. Overnight stay.
Breakfast. All day drive across the steppe in eastern direction. Stop at Uran Togoo the dead Volcano. Boxed Lunch. In the late afternoon arrival in Erdenet, a small town where stands one of the biggest copper mining in Asia. Overnight stay in a hotel.
Breakfast. Departure towards Amarbayasgalant manstery, the most important monastery of Mongolia after that of Erdene Zuu. After the visit, departure to the Capital driving on a paved road that runs along the trans-Siberian railway. Lunch at a local restaurant on the road. In the late afternoon arrival in UB. Dinner and overnight at a hotel.
Breakfast. All the day dedicated to the Capital city. Visit Gandan Monastery, the most important Buddhist core for the Mongolian people. Here, before the Soviet purges, there were more than 10.000 monks in this monastery. After lunch, we’ll explore the central squire named after The Great Chinggis Khaan next visit to the Choijin Lama Museum where you can see a wonderful collection of “Tsam Dance” Masks. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Breakfast. Drive to Tsonjin Boldog, the biggest statue of Chinggis Khaan, with museum and observatory inside. Continue drive to beautiful Terelj National Park and explore the area, which is time to feel peaceful nomadic lifestyle and touching the wild nature again. In the evening, you can attend Mongolian traditional art performance, which includes music, dance, long songs, throat singing and contortion. Farewell dinner and overnight stay at your hotel.
